About Us
Empowering local storytellers through film in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Who We Are
The Nelson Mandela Bay Film Forum (NMBFF) is a registered non-profit organization (NPO) that represents a broad spectrum of filmmakers, content creators, and creative industry professionals within the Nelson Mandela Bay region. Our mission is to champion and grow the local film and media industry by advocating for resources, infrastructure, and access to funding for emerging and established creatives.
At our core, we aim to create an inclusive, supportive environment where filmmakers can thrive — telling authentic local stories, building professional networks, and elevating the unique cultural and creative identity of the Eastern Cape. We believe that the region is rich with untapped talent and stories that deserve a global platform.
